Privacy policy

Summary

ProjectCostPro is a free static website. We don’t require accounts, don’t collect payment information, and don’t run a contractor lead form unless that’s explicitly added in the future. The information your browser sends to load any web page (browser, IP, page visited) may be logged by our hosting provider or by analytics tooling if we add it.

What we may collect

• Standard server logs — IP address, browser/device user-agent, pages visited, timestamps, and referrer. Logged by our hosting provider for security and uptime monitoring.
• Analytics — if and when we enable a privacy-respecting analytics tool, it may record page-view counts, approximate region (from IP), referrer, and basic device info. We will not use third-party advertising trackers.
• ZIP code you type into a calculator — used in your browser to look up regional pricing. Not transmitted to us or stored anywhere unless you explicitly submit a feedback form.
• Feedback form submissions (if and when added) — only the information you choose to provide.

What we don’t collect

• No accounts, no passwords, no payment information
• No contractor lead capture
• No third-party advertising trackers
• No precise location (we don’t request GPS permission)
• No personal information beyond what you optionally submit via a feedback form

Cookies

The site does not set first-party cookies for analytics or tracking by default. If we add an analytics tool that uses cookies, we will update this policy and add a banner where required by law.

Advertising

The site does not currently display advertising. If we enable advertising in the future (e.g., Google AdSense or another ad network), third-party advertising vendors — including Google — may use cookies and identifiers to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site or other sites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or by visiting aboutads.info for the broader Network Advertising Initiative opt-out.

If we enable analytics or advertising, this page will be updated and the change date at the top will reflect that.

Third-party services

The site loads a webfont from Google Fonts. Loading a webfont causes your browser to make a request to Google’s servers. Google publishes its own privacy policy for that service.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we materially change what data we collect or how it’s used, we will update the “updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
